Post-Surgery Hair Washing
Please read the precautions carefully before visiting a salon for your first hair wash after surgery.
β οΈ Precautions Before Shampoo
π©Έ Check for Bleeding First

You may wash your hair only when there is no blood draining from the face or surgical area.

If you notice any active bleeding, oozing, or unusual discharge β do not wash yet and contact VIEW immediately.
π©Ή Be Careful Around Stitches

Always be gentle around the stitched area. Do not rub, press, or scratch near incision lines.

Inform the salon staff about your surgery and the location of your stitches before they begin washing.

Avoid applying shampoo directly onto stitches. Ask the stylist to rinse carefully around those areas.
π¨ Dry the Stitches Area Thoroughly

After washing, make sure the stitched area is completely dry. Moisture near sutures can lead to infection or slow healing.

Use a gentle, cool setting on the blow dryer β avoid direct heat on incision sites.

Do not leave the stitched area damp. Pat dry first with a soft towel before blow drying.
